And weeks went by but felt like hours
Growing up with two older brothers had (and has) its perks…and challenges. I wouldn’t change it for the world though, even when they made me cry convincing me I was adopted.
As we grow older (now in our late 20s and early 30s) we often seek each other out since we enjoy many of the similar activities and have become each other’s “squad” (Skwaa). Well, they might not know it, but they are mine. Yes, we argue and fight (whoever says they don’t, that’s a lie a la Maury). Simply put, they’re the best fellas I know. They tag along in my crazy whether that involves a birthday trolly (thanks guys..) or partaking in something I love: music. They’re there when it means the most.
This past Thanksgiving weekend, we did something we hadn’t done in the longest time: waking up under the same roof. As cheesy as it sounds, it felt nice reliving those younger, simpler days. You grow old, and you start appreciating the little things even more (e.g. cooking breakfast, watching TV, falling asleep as you watch TV, etc.).
Check out the a little snippet of this past weekend’s shenanigans in Michigan. Enjoy!
You’re not my king
And I don’t want your worship
Kicking off my first TUNESday with one of my favorite sets that convinced me I need to catch a show at The Lab. Vibing with a sunset as a backdrop, purely magical.
Come back every Tuesday to take a peep at some of my favorite sets and live performances.
Slave to the radio, wait till they forget you though…
Been a fan since they first hit the scene, and I can’t wait to hear their full album!
You take me higher than I’ve ever been baby
YELLE sings about unplugging and being present. The 1:30 mark is totally #DazyDanceMove approved!
